Spring Moths at McElroy Education Center

Late spring offers some of the best mothing of the year with many of the large, charismatic moths emerging as adults. While it may be a late program, some of thte most fascinating things come out at night. With a goal of tallying 50 different species of insects, we'll start with an indoor presentation and then go outside to a moth sheet, black lights, and baited trees. Flashlights and cameras are encouraged. Dress for the weather and ground conditions. Register by May 30.
