They say you can’t go home again but Nature & Wildlife Artist and African safari expert, Fred Krakowiak, is doing just that when he visits his former hometown of Lima, Oct. 5th through 7th, for a lecture and artist reception in conjunction with a display of his artwork featured at ArtSpace/Lima, September 15th thru October 28th.

Krakowiak, a graduate of Lima Central Catholic (1970) and now based in Scottsdale, Arizona, had a successful career as a financial planner for over 30 years before following his true passion of becoming a nature and wildlife artist.  For over a decade of summers, Krakowiak has traveled to Africa photographing wild animals up close and personal that then become the subject of his amazing artwork.

Krakowiak will present a multi-media discussion and demonstration of his work at a Soup & Salad Lecture at ArtSpace on Thursday, Oct. 5th.  Visit the ArtSpace website for reservation information, www.

A public reception will be held on Friday, October 6th, 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.
