Christmas Tree Festival Open: Wed & Thurs 10 am - 5 pm, Friday 10 am - 8 pm, Saturday 10 am - 5 pm, and Sunday 12 - 5 pm.

Over 100 decorated Christmas Trees from community organizations will deck the halls of the Museum. The Christmas Tree Festival will feature "Evergreen" the talking ChristmasTree and tours of the decorated MacDonell House. There will be daily demonstrations in the Log House as well as activities in the Children’s Discovery Center. Live entertainment scheduled throughout each day. Overflow parking is available at St. Rita’s Medical Center parking lot to the immediate north of the Museum on High Street. Sponsored by Church Women United in the Lima Area, Johnny Appleseed Metro Park District, and The Allen County Historical Society.

 The Christmas Tree Festival will feature the following activities:

Evergreen, The Talking Christmas Tree 
Gifts from the Earth
The Bake Shoppe
Instant Photos
Fingerprint plaques
Holiday Boutique
Daily demonstrations in the Pioneer Log House
Children's crafts and a display featuring Christmas from the 1950-1975 in the Children's Discovery Center
Live entertainment scheduled throughout each day.
Little Children's Shoppe for children in 3rd grade and younger who can purchase gifts for their families on Friday evening, Saturday and Sunday only.
Wood Carving and Rug Hooking Demonstrations on Saturday and Sunday only.
The Polar Express will be read to children on Sunday afternoon, next to the Shay Locomotive. And visit the decorated MacDonell House free of charge.
