Camp for individuals with developmental differences. On Friday night local high school players involved with the event, speakers from The Playmakers Organization, local coaches and myself will speak about character and leadership ideals we hope to spread in the Lima community. Here is some information:
1. Both Friday night, May 12th, and Saturday morning, May 13th are free events open to everyone including those with developmental disabilities, their families, local athletes of all ages and their families. Those with no affiliation with the groups above are more than welcome as well.
2. Friday night is 6:30-8:00 at Hugh Downs Auditorium. The camp on Saturday morning will be at Shawnee High Schools new turf football field.
3. Saturday morning is from 9:00 am - 12:00 pm and will be hosted by The Playmakers and local high school players.
4. The event is being sponsored by Mercy Health.
